The Chinese society in the last year of Qing Danasty was confronted with the difficult choice of revolution or reform. The Peaceful political change of Qing Dynasty did not succeed, the Revolution broke out.The Revolution of 1911 was the first great historic change in the modern China.The contribution of the Revolution of 1911 is evident that it overthew the feudal goverment of the Qing Dynasty,it made the first attempt to explore political modernization of China,then it impulsed the development of political modernization of China .political modernization means the transition of politics and the institution of political power .The Revolution builds Chinese Republic.It takes on the feature of political modernization, New system civilization of Congress,constitution and so on appears in the China political arena, To a certain extent,The Revolution of 1911 became the turnpoint of turning Chinese traditional politics into modern politics.It paved the way for the Chinese social progress and further development.However,the political modernization is not smooth, Early years of the Republic, The social foundation which the Democratic system relies on was very weak.As a result,the effort the revolutionists made was to change the political order under the traditional power. they focused on the reconstruction of a new political order and power .but the new authority should not play its performance, the Chinese didn't obtain a stable political order. It was under such a situation in which the whole society was appealing to restore the power and order that Yuan Shi-kai usurped the power of the government. Nevertheless,The China's political modernization process has been a promising start.
