Course design is one of the important steps of program development, it's researches will affect the goal of education and the course target directly, so the research of the college preparatory Chinese language course design has very important meaning to the Chinese language teaching practice in Xinjiang. At present, there is still a long way to go in the study of comprehensive, macroscopic preparatory Chinese language course designing. So the author developed her owe view in reference to her teaching practice from the macro view in several aspects such as the course design involving of needs analysis, selecting or establishment of the syllabus, existing of course design and teaching factual situation etc, putted forward to some suggestions, hopping to have the help to the university Chinese language teaching. Five sections and conclusion constitute this essay. Section 1 is the introduction, treating with the necessity, method, significance of study, the achievements by some scholars and the development and the factual situation of college preparatory Chinese language teaching in Xinjiang. Section 2 is about the basis for the college preparatory Chinese language course design -inquisition expected the before, and carry on to the property and characteristics of the college preparatory Chinese language teaching analysis, this affects the choice and the arrangement of this course content. Still discusses the concept of course design. Section 3 is about the analysis of the university Chinese language teaching target and function of different category syllabuses in the teaching, and explains the problem that the syllabuses design process involve such as: selecting the course content, the role of the learner and teacher in the teaching. Section 4 from the syllabuses, the course content and teaching method, courses establishing three aspects to factual situation of college preparatory Chinese language Teachings in Xinjiang carries on the analysis and studies.
