The Primary Research On Three Textbooks Of Solfeggio & Ear Training For Higher Normal University

The essay has studied three textbooks of solfeggio & ear training which have been employed by music major in higher normal universities since 1980. From the view of history, it is the first time that the textbooks has been deeply analyzed with the theory of teaching material and the methods of documentation, interview, logic and comparison.Four parts support the essay, which are synthetic theory of solfeggio & ear training, historical review of solfeggio & ear training teaching material development in higher normal universities, overall analysis on the textbooks and suggestions for new edition. The third part, also the main body, presents each textbook's compiling object, compiling structure and compiling characters and evaluates their function in teaching practice. Finally, in the fourth part, the similarity and difference in three textbooks is inducted and therefore suggestion and trend of compiling new edition are brought up.The essay has pioneered in the solfeggio & ear training textbooks for higher normal universities. It is the first time to discuss the textbooks' function in music education, to review development history of the textbooks, to analyze the structure and character, and to brief the limitations of three textbooks.
