This thesis based on some former relevant academic studies on India chooses the characteristic of political economization and economic politicalization in the contemporary international relationship as the study perspective, in which Indian economic diplomacy execution background is previewed and the relationship between the Indian economic diplomacy policies' execution and the pursuit of a perennial great power is then analyzed. What is more, the consequent external strategic adjustment and its influence of pursuing a great power upon the world and the regional pattern in the 21st Century are also discussed, including the influence of Indian "economic diplomacy" execution of pursuing a great power upon China and the Sino-Indian relationship after the Cold War. The thesis is to reach the goal of having a better understanding of the tendency of Indian external strategic adjustment after the Cold War and make contribution to stabilizing the peripheral territories of China and executing the peaceful strategy of being a mighty country through the detailed analysis of Indian strategic policy of executing the economic diplomacy and pursuing its great power after the Cold War.
