An Exploratory Design Of The Questionnaire Of Parenting Style

Parenting style refers to a fixed behaviour pattern or a behaviour tendancy which is centralised by the parent-child relationship in the family and shown by the parents' raising their children.It is dependent on the parents' attitude about education and influenced by parents' personality, belief and behaviours. So it is a combination of education views and behavior.It is very valuable both in theory and practice to research and explore.The main aim of this rasearch is to develop a Parenting Style Questionnaire which is just adaptable to Chinese adolescents.Based on overviews of former reaearchers,the theoretical hypothesis was constructed.After investigating 68 middle school students together with experts' opinion and research works in the field, the coarse questionnaire has been formed;with which 928 middle school students were investigated ,the result is the formation of the preliminary questionnaire;The expolring factor analysis has been done with investigating 1108 middle school students.The main results of this reasearch are as follows: 1.
