The research uses a sample of299college students to inspect the validities and reliabilities of SCCS, s-EMBU-C, ITS, and give the preliminary analysis for the relationships of Parental Rearing Style, Self Consistency and Congruence, Interpersonal Trust in the pilot study. In the formal research, it uses a sample of868college students to inspect the validities and reliabilities of SCCS, s-EMBU-C, ITS once again, and give the analysis of the demographic characteristic for variables of Parental Rearing Style, Self Consistency and Congruence, Interpersonal Trust. In addition, the relationship of variables proposed by the pilot study was confirmed and systematically analyzed. The primary findings are as follows:(1) The reliability, validity of s-EMBU-C, SCCS, ITS both reached the standard of psychometrics, they can be used as research tools for the Chinese college students in related study.(2)College students’self flexibility, self rigidness, father’s rejection, father’s over protection, mother’s rejection, mother’s over protection are all statistically significant difference in gender; but self consistency and congruence, self-experience inconsistency, parental emotional warmth, interpersonal trust are not significant difference in gender. College students’self rigidness, parental emotional warmth are all statistically significant difference between the urban and rural areas; but college students’self consistency and congruence, self-experience inconsistency, self flexibility, parental rejection, parental over protection, interpersonal trust are not significant difference between the urban and rural areas. Self rigidness, parental rejection, mother’s over protection, interpersonal trust are all significant difference between only and non-only children; self consistency and congruence, self-experience inconsistency, self flexibility, parental emotional warmth, father’s over protection are not significant difference between only and non-only children. Mother’s emotional warmth is significant difference between two-parent and single-parent family; self consistency and congruence, self-experience inconsistency, self flexibility, self rigidness, father’s emotional warmth, parental rejection, parental over protection, interpersonal trust are not significant difference between two-parent and single-parent family. Self consistency and congruence, self-experience inconsistency, self flexibility, self rigidness, parental rejection are all significant difference in grade; parental emotional warmth, parental over protection, interpersonal trust are not significant difference in grade. Self consistency and congruence, self-experience inconsistency, self rigidness, parental emotional warmth, father’s rejection, parental over protection are all significant difference in major; self flexibility, mother’s rejection, interpersonal trust are not significant difference in major.(3) A significantly negative correlation is found between parental emotional warmth and self consistency and congruence, while the correlation between parental emotional warmth and interpersonal trust is significantly positive. The correlation between parental rejection and self consistency and congruence is significantly positive, while the correlation between parental rejection and interpersonal trust is significantly negative. The correlation between parental over protection and self consistency and congruence is significantly positive, while the correlation between parental over protection and interpersonal trust is significantly negative. The correlation between self consistency and congruence and interpersonal trust is significantly negative.(4) The predictive effect of parental emotional warmth on self consistency and congruence is significantly negative; but parental rejection and parental over protection shows statistically significant positive effect in predicting self consistency and congruence. The predictive effect of parental emotional warmth on interpersonal trust is significantly positive; but mother’s over protection shows statistically significant negative effect in predicting interpersonal trust. Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant negative effect in predicting interpersonal trust.(5)Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant partial mediating effects on the relationships between the father’s emotional warmth and interpersonal trust. Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant full mediating effects on the relationships between the father’s rejection and interpersonal trust. Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant full mediating effects on the relationships between the father’s over protection and interpersonal trust. Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant partial mediating effects on the relationships between the mother’s emotional warmth and interpersonal trust. Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant full mediating effects on the relationships between the mother’s rejection and interpersonal trust. Self consistency and congruence shows statistically significant partial mediating effects on the relationships between the mother’s over protection and interpersonal trust.
