"Wen Ju" was a campus literary publication originated by the students of South-west United University duiring the period of the war of anti-aggression of Japen. In this nearly oblivious magazine, many classical writings in the literature history of modern times of china had been published. From this magazine, we found that the war was an important theme in the creation of literature in South-west United University but not the only one. These teachers and students in the campus still kept seeking for spirit and pondering for life and they still reserved their absolute spirit spaces which formed the special literary sight of literature in the war.There are four parts in this article: the humanity circumstance, which was South-west United University, in which this magazine was producing is discussed in first part. If there had not had the campus principles of "independent" and "free", there had not the living space of this magazine. The ways of produceing and running of the magazine is taken over in second part. And the infatuation for new literature of the students of South-west United University did not disappear during the rough times in the war. In third part, the literary practice is analyzed concretely and the different art features of novels, essaies and poems are differentiated in order to explain the success of modernistic poems in South-west United University during 1940s. In last part, the ideas of some works of some persons who were very closed to this magazine are discussed in order to reflect the different experiences and literary ideals of the intellectuals in the University during the war.
