The Research On The Conservation Of Campus Heritage And Stusainable Development In The Taibai Campus Of Northwest University

Northwest University,which located in the southwest corner of the ancient city of Xi'an,from the founding of the school in 1902 to the present,it has experienced 116 years.The Taibai Campus has a long history and retains a lot of historical and cultural information,not just the spiritual home of the generation of Teacher and student.It is also a historical testimony to the development of higher education in China and the development of Northwestern University.It has important historical and cultural heritage value and significance.Along with the expansion of higher education in China,the Taoyuan Campus of Northwest University was established in 2002 and Chang'an Campus in 2005.A large number of teachers and students were moved to the new campus.With the relocation of a large number of departments and the reduction of the number of students,The campus' s vitality is declining,its function is declining,it is marginalized,and there are signs of further decline.In this context,this paper sorts out the types and quantity of campus heritage of the Taibai Campus of Northwest University,evaluates its value,and formulates reasonable protection measures according to the actual situation.At the same time,it combines relevant policies and utilizes the resources owned by Taibai Campus to reaearch the relevant countermeasures for the sustainable development of Taibai Campus.Finally,I hope that through the study of the campus heritage of Taibai Campus,we can explore the value,composition,protection methods and development path of campus heritage,and provide new ideas for the study of campus heritage protection and development of the same type of colleges and universities.
