A Study Of The Predicative Functions Of Common Psychological Verbs In The Fictions Of WeiJinNanBei Dynasty

The fictions of WeiJinNanBei Dynasty (魏晋南北朝) , which can reveal the characters of word and grammer of this period because of much spoken language in them, are the important material to research the language of this period.Based on the material of the fictions of WeiJinNanBei Dynasty, this paper discusses the predicative functions of common psychological verbs in the fictions of WeiJinNanBei Dynasty by means of statistics, depiction and deduction Predicative functions are the major grammertical functions of psychological verbs. This paper analyses the predicative functions of psychological verbs from the following five aspects: the characters of objective, the characters of adverbial, the characters of complement, the sentence structure and tone and verb valence.In addition, on one hand, it researches some other material of this period as a contemporary contrast;one the other hand", it discusses the developments of predicative functions of psychological verbs from pre- Qin dynasty to WeiJinNanBei Dynasty by comparing with pre-Qin dynasty.
