Research Of Rock Covers

In this article the Rock Covers has been deeply studied from aspects of its three features including its distinct characters, variable Zeitgeist and unique art value.And then, the formation of design concept has been discussed . According to the rules of design, the self-consciousness expressions, the design methods and the visional images, the design temperaments have been marked with "irrational" and "rebel". And the style selections, design stand and contents and forms of its expressions have together shown its substantial culture feature --- a combination of popular /mass culture and counterculture.Thereafter the author has discussed the development of Rock Covers and the reason why it becomes mature under the present western social situation, as well as its related expression characteristics and concerned discussions connected with the spirit root of the traditional western culture and changes in in modern society.What's more, the contemporary art concepts and different sects have had great effects on the Rock covers.And the present condition of Chinese Rock covers design together with the design expressions also have been briefly mentioned in the end of this dissertation.
