| There are several standards about classification of Fu. Generally, Fu is classified into these categories as followings: Quyuan Fu, Lujia Fu, Sunqing Fu and Others according to their originals; Fu in the genre of Sao style, of poems and of articles on the basis of their forming styles; Fu about the Capital, about the Ceremony held in the suburbs, about the Hunting, about the cultivation and about the traveling in the light of their contents. This article focuses on the Fu concerning with beauty and amorousness written during the Han Dynasty to the Bei Dynasty, which is named by the author as "Beauty Fu", as the subject. And the author divided the Beauty Fu into three subcategories: the Fairy Fu, the Empress and Imperial Concubines Fu, the Public Women Fu.Fu hit a peak during the period from the Han Dynasty to the Bei Dynasty. For the sake of the feudal ethnics ties the Beauty Fu in Han Dynasty is mostly intended to be allegory. Whereas, influenced by complex elements, for example, the frequent war, the fade of Confucianism, the liberation of individuality and the prevail of Xuanxue, Buddhism, Taoism, Beauty Fu during Wei Dynasty to Bei Dynasty were mainly describing the Fairies, attractive women and the grieve. A good Fu always demonstrated the writers' emotion and aspiration which is the soul of a Fu. And this soul is showed in form of allegory and indirect irony and expression of one's feelings in Beauty Fu. But that is not the unique outstanding characteristics of Fu, the role of description is. By a few literature methods such as elaboration, metaphor, foil and contrast Beauty Fu authors described some beauty forms who are beautiful and enchanting, dignified and graceful, tender andyielding. Through these descriptions it was expressed that women requested by the moral criterion were satisfying the expectant about female value which is held by the patriline society.So far, the special research on Beauty Fu is just in the initial stage. Even in some articles of Yu Yuxian the Beauty Fu is not fully well illustrated. Therefore, by the analysis on Beauty Fu this article tries to analyze origin and development of Beauty Fu, find how the social trend of thoughts and the characteristics in that duration affect it, trace the various literature means and by all these works, hopefully attract the public attention on Beauty Fu. |
