Fan Zhongyan's Value Of The Confucianism And The Measure Of Defending TangGu Te

In October A.D.1038,TangGu Te Dynasty was build by Li Yuanhao, then threaten northwest safety of border of Song. In January 1040, Li YuanHao controlled lots of areas of Song after the fight of Sanchuankou. The northwest defence of Song sunk into and collapsed.It was very emergent.The emperor Renzong reinstated the famous official Fan Zhongyan in order to resist TangGu Te . After Fan Zhongyan reached there, he adopted the active defence tactics,led the soldiers to repair villages with surrounding walls, pacified the minority nationalities, rectified the whole military discipline and selected the talent high-ranking military officers and soldiers ,all this measures succeed in preventing TangGu Te from fierce attack. The northwest borderland of Song obtained the peacefulness temporarily.This thesis mainly described that Fan used kind-heartedness thought of the Confucianism to care about generals and soldiers,treated them kindly,respected and protected them firmly,which made Fan train and choose a group of talent high-ranking military officers rapidly within short time.They became the favorable pioneer who attacked TangGu Te. Meanwhile,Fan used kind-heartedness and trust to treat the minority nationalities along the side of the border,which obtained the support of them,they became another fresh combatants of resisting TangGu Te.All this defence skills that Fan had adopt embodied the suffering consciousness of feudal intellectual persons and the kind-hearted spirit of the Confucianists, Fan was the very person. His spirit could encourage others to take Fan as a good example,this was the most important personal inherent factor of success. It was the spiritual legacy that we should be inheritted and developed in this time too.
