A Study Of The Double-Syllable Words Of CHUCI

The source literature of this paper is Ma Maoyuan's CHUCI ZHU SHI .We make an analysis on double-syllable words of these ten books: LI SAO,JIU GE,TIAN WEN,JIU ZHANG, YUAN YOU,BO JU,YU FU,ZHAO HUN,DA ZHAO,JIU BIAN.This paper be departed to three chapters.The first chapter will discuss structural pattern.The analysis of structural pattern,based mainly on the traditional-structural linguistics.All double-syllable words will be grouped into seven types :the coordinated construction,the modifier-head construction,the addix construction,the verb-object construction, the subject-predicate construction, and the overlapping construction.We make an detailed analysis on each type,in order to illuminate the word-forming principles of double-syllable words.The second chapter will discuss the semanteme of double-syllable words,mainly in the traditional-semantics method.This paper checks the semantic constructions of different words types.The third chapter will discuss the syntactical function of double-syllable words,relating to noun,adjective,verb,adverb and onomatope.
