A Study Of The Double-Syllable Words Of DongXuan Record

Song dynasty is a very important period in Chinese history. The DongXuan Reco rd is a representative notes novel in this period.which has very important value to study modern Chinese. The paper use the qualitative and quantitative analysis method and regard the double-syllable words in DongXuan record as the research object. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part: introduction. It mainly introduces the DongXuan record and the research status, the significance of selected topic and the method of analying the double-syllable words. This paper focuses on double-syllable words in DongXuan Record and the judgment standard of double-syllable words.The second part: according to the judgment standard of double-syllable words,this paper segments the single morpheme word,including continuous word,transliteration loanwords and overlapping tone words.The third part: according to the judgment standard of double-syllable words, this paper segments the compound word of DongXuan record.Then through classifying and studying, it will make the compound word into three categories, the compound, the additive and the superimposed. On the basis of segmentation, the compound can be divided into joint type, partial formal,verb-object type, subject-predicate type, supplementary type,which respectively describing the double-syllable words from two aspects of semantic and structure.The fourth part: summary the characteristics of the double-syllable words in DongXuan record. It will be included in the process of development of the chinese language history with diachronic and synchronic comparison and summarize the characteristics of the double-syllable words.The fifth part: comparing the term with Chinese dictionary,we found that some words are not received. Some entries don't have the newest documentary evidence. So it shows that the great significance of the Chinese Dictionary revision according to DongXuan record.The conclusion part:concludes the characteristics of the double-syllable words in DongXuan record, which based on the foregoing to provide some evidence of the study to Chinese language history.
