The trend of fashion is what fashion designers and consumers seek to persue. Whether the fashion design will prevail and become what the public persue, whether the good taste in art will change into well-selling commomdity;whether consumers can find fashion and obtain the other's admiration, all will lead to completely different results. People have started to persue the fashion after basic needs were satisfied , thus the decoration of their garment could be fully showed.However, how does fashion prevail and attract the public to persue? It depends on the media of communication. Looking into the past , the public already imitated people's dressing in higher social status. That results in traditional prevalence of fashion. With the development of technology and social culture, newspaper, magazine and TV have become the media which have enhanced the process of fashion prevalence. Today, because of the abundance of products, the marketing competition becomes so fierce that lots of garment industries not only popularize their designers and set up their brand image, but try their best to promote new styles of every season as well.In the process of study on fashion, people continuously find different media of communication. The Internet, in particular, adds new ideas to communication. Internet is also named the 4n medium after newspaper, magazine and TV. It has quite different features compared with the traditional ones. This 24hr-opening platform makes the communication among designers, consumers and companies possible, which the other media can not attain.In the field of fashion, it is well-known that women are always infatuated with fashion. When they go shopping, they are eager to judge and try on different styles. Although they can see a lot offashionable commodities on magazines, TV and T stage, shopping is the only way that they can try them on.Then, what can Internet do for us? Just as many men are addictive to on-line games, women are eager to fit in different styles of brands all over the world by means of their simulation images on-line. Compared with going shopping, the great information given on Internet in short time is unparalleled. Most of women will be easily tempted if they can try on hundreds of new styles of different fashion brands on-line over one night without stepping outside and ending up exhausted. Furthermore, on-line fitting has absolute advantages on the span of space and convenience in process. So, the combination of fitting system with game will bring much fun to both entertainment and consumption. Whether shopping or marketing feedback;whether advertisement or brand image, all can greatly influence the development of garment industries. Net economy counts on people's attention. So long as it can catch the mass's eyes, it will certainly speed up fashion prevalence.This paper conducts careful studies on communication media of fashion, especially focusing on the characteristics of the 4th medium with fashion prevalence in it. It also introduces the promotion of fashion prevalence through Internet.
