This article has mainly discussed two aspects contents about Digital product design on "the material culture" and "the non-material culture" in the information age.The reference philosophy research method, the full text divides into "the development theory", "the ontology", "the relation theory" three parts. First chapter is the introduction, mainly described this topic content, research background, significance, goal, method and so on;Second, three chapters are the culture of design " the development theory ", this part inquired into the design culture origin, has combed its development vein, summarized its change development basic power, and induces this into "the design object and its demand change";Fourth chapter is the culture of design "the ontology", this part analyzed the digital product "the matter" and "the non-matter" the cultural characteristic, analyzed the information age consumer's demand change with emphasis, summarized digital product technology and the emotion characteristic from this decision, and has induced in the design " leadership of the demand " and " subject of the design ";Fifth, six chapters are the culture of design " the relations theory ", this part inquired into the reasonable relations among three parts "the design object", "the designer", "the user' environment" in the information age, how as well as do realize this kind of relations. Its key point is to analyze the digital product "the localization" and "the decoding", describe designer' quality, summarize correlation content, design procedure, expression and appraisal and so on. In this foundation, this article had also forecast the future science and technology development tendency, has induced the future possible "leadership of the demand" and "subject of the design". These three parts of corresponding research respectively is with emphasis "the design object demand change", "the product characteristic" and "the design idea".This article through to "human's demand", "product characteristic" and "design idea" inquiring into, utilized the multi-disciplinary overlapping knowledge to analyze the culture of digital product from the different angle, the relation and the continuous nature, analyzed its technology and the emotion characteristic, has induced the designrule and the method, and has forecast its development tendency. In the article also unified the successful design case and author's design practices the illustration information age product design culture the characteristic, the rule, the value.This article research results:1) research approach to draw lessons from philosophy, the culture of digital product design is divided into "the development theory", "the ontology", "the relation theory" three parts to carry on the elaboration.2) the information technology develops in any event, it progresses itself is not the goal, only is the humanity creates the more reasonable survival way "the method", the ultimate goal lies in the manner to provide "the service" well.3) the information technology reasonable transformation, for human's by physiology in concern, has peerless "the science and technology" exquisitely the beauty;The design makes every effort to melt between the information technology and the humanity as well as the human and the human "the barrier", for human's by psychology in consoling, produces sympathizes "the emotion" warmly the beauty.4) the future product will have the wisdom, has the emotion, has "the life body" individuality, will be we lives "the companion".
