Since its rising in the commercialization and secularization wave of industrial revolution,flourishing in the western societies from 1950s and 1960s to the 20th century and starting tospread to China in 1980s and 1990s. Popular Art has become an industry. It has had acommodity attributes, which objectively required a necessary theoretical exploration. Thoughthere are many studies on Popular Art at present, it is still short of such a study whichexplores from both of the two aspects, artistic and economics. Even though there are somestudies about industrial art using those two points of views, singular treatises that only discussa certain kind of artistic still existing in. Therefore, it is great significance to integrate somebasis theories of the two subjects and to have a research of Popular Art Industry management,especially important on putting it in Chinese reform and opening up and the progress ofChinese market economy system.During the course of the study, the author will try his best in grasping the nature ofartistic and economics, especially to explore the generation, the status, characteristics ofPopular Art Industrial Management and the experience of other art forms with MarxistPolitical Economics and its related concepts as well as some experience of modern industrialeconomic research.The specific content of papers and theoretical framework as follows:It is divided into 5 parts: Introduction, Chapters I, II, III, IV and Conclusion.The Introduction is mainly to present the relevant background research and has a moredetailed analysis and definition to the core concepts of the paper, such as "Popular Art","Industrialization" and "Industrialization of Popular Art". The article especially stresses thatPopular Art is the practice of this particular art form in the social structure of the "civilsociety" or "public community" to "mass society" in the process of change response, is the artform and content of popular manifestations, and its determinants is the change of artproduction methods.Chapter I is mainly on Popular Art historical conditions with the spirits of Marxismproduction theory, in particular the commodity theory and artistic production theory as aguide, focusing on the generation and analysis of public art industrial development, as well asdiscussing the determinants of Popular Art generation and the production attributes of PopularArt----art production methods.Now that, popular art can take industrial development path, however what about thesituation? So the research topics in the second chapter of the fact that we use the methodsdeveloped to analyze the more popular Western art industry and the current differencesbetween our public art, and trying to sum up the main obstacles that impact on our popular artindustries development, to lead a topic research directions.In which with the current problems appeared, Chapter III is mainly to describe andanalyse the principal part of popular art industry. Furthermore, it presents a summary of theobstacles to resolving popular art industrial development proposals.With the successful experiences of popular art industry, Chapter IV eyes on exploringthe influences on elite arts and folk arts, which were brought by popular art, and providesuseful directions to the development of two art forms.Conclusion part stresses on summing up the effects that were brought by popular artindustry research on the developments of social economy and cultural, especially in standingout the current effects of popular art industries research on forming a harmonious society anddeveloping advanced culture.
