Research On Social Recreation Of Modern Hunan (1911-1927)

The social recreation of modern Hunan is the emphasis of this thesis. Underground of the social vicissitudes of Hunan modern society, the author researches the influence of social recreation to the whole society. In addition, the author discusses also the status of social recreation in the society and tries to find out actual steps of Hunan' s social evolution by the angle of recreation.This article is separated into six parts.Part one is the preface, which just introduces the meaning of author' s choosing the title and previous research achievement, anther' s new ideas as well.The first chapter: Explaining the concept and meaning of social recreation.The second chapter mainly introduces essential content of traditional Hunan' s recreation which is including two kinds: one is proper, the other is not proper. Moreover, briefly comment the traditional recreation of Hunan' s society.The third chapter: The focus of the part is that the author explores some new mode of Hunan' s social recreation in Late Qing dynasty. They mainly include: Dance, Drama, Athlete, Variety show, Game and ill proper recreation. Moreover, the author tries to analyze Hunan' s recreation from 1911 to 1927. There are also three aspects which are the important status of tradition social recreation, rapidly development of the recreation appearing in Late Qing dynasty and arising some new modes of recreation which have important effectiveness after building the Republic of China.The fourth part: Commenting on the influence on Hunan' s modernization, etc.The end: Briefly summarizing the social recreation of modern Hunan society.
