The personal pronouns are thought to refer to the first personal pronouns, the secondpersonal pronouns, oneself called pronouns, the third personal pronouns, addressing-otherpronouns, and at the same time includes honorifics and self-abasing forms in this article. The paper first explains the linguistic material value of Sou Shen Ji (SSJ) in the researchof Chinese history analyzes the present research situation of the personal pronouns and SSJand demonstrates the value of the dissertation title, methods and styles used in the paper. Then, the main section centers on the personal pronouns in SSJ based on limitlesscalculating, by combining not only description and explanation but also synchronic anddiachronic perspective. Then, we figure out the personal pronouns system in SSJ, and pointout its characteristics one by one. Such as the first personal pronouns "wu(吾)" "wo(我)""yu(余)" "yu(予)" "zhen(朕)", the second personal pronouns "nv(女)" "ru(汝)" "er(尔)","ruo(若)", the third personal pronouns "zhi(之)" "qi(其)", oneself called pronouns "ji(己)","shen(身) " and addressing -other pronouns "ta(他)", "ren jia(人家)", "ta ren (他人)" in SSJ . We can draw the conclusion that the first personal pronouns and the second personalpronouns are simplifying in this book. "Wo(我)", "ru(汝)" respectively are the most activethe first personal pronouns and the second personal pronouns, " ta(他)" is changing into thethird personal pronouns, and the grammatical function of "qi(其)" develops greatly but do notbecome the third personal pronouns finally. The article also discusses some honorifics andself-abasing forms: "jun(君)", "qing(卿)", "xian sheng(先生)", "zi(子)" and their uses.We also believe that honorifics and self-abasing forms have been relatively developed.Furthermore, this change just satisfies the situation that the first personal pronouns and thesecond personal pronouns have tended to the simplification since the Middle Ages.
