Jiang Jieshi's Point Of View About The Culture: "The Older, The Newer"

Jiang Jieshi lived in an age of many thoughts crashed, which made himedified by kinds of cultures. From the angle of the complicated relationshipbetween Jiang Jieshi's thoughts and Chinese traditional culture, "Sanminism"culture system and fascist culture, this article tries to discuss Jiang Jieshi'sparticular comprehension about culture, and analyze the motivation of "theolder, the newer" upon the historical events of the "new life movement".The foreword introduces the situation of current research about therelationship between Jiang Jieshi's thoughts and Chinese traditional culture,"Sanminism" culture system, fascist culture, summarizes briefly the relevantresearch of the acdemic communities;introduces the research approach andgoal of this paper.The paper is made up of three parts:Part one brings round Jiang Jieshi 's point of view about the culture:"The Older, The Newer" without preamble. Starting with Jiang Jieshi 'sculture inside information, author analyses his benthamism attitude to theculture and uses "The Older, The Newer" to generalize it. In this way, theauthor introduces the reason of the theme selection.Part two starts with the "New Life Movement", introduces its leitmotiv,content and philosophy, in order to make out that Jiang Jieshi 's point of viewabout the culture is not mature.Part three starting with Jiang Jieshi's theory summing-up in Taiwan.Comparing the two movements in content and intention, the author points outthat Jiang Jieshi 's point of view about the culture: "The Older, The Newer" ismature at that time.The conclusion summarizes briefly the full paper, and draws some viewson Jiang Jieshi 's point of view about the culture: "The Older, The Newer":First, Jiang Jieshi 's point of view about the culture includes two sides:inheriting and innovation.
