Narrative Time In The Novel Of 20 Century And Life Experiences

This text think that time is related with people's life experiences, particularly time of subjective. Be a kind of time art,the novel is the best place to include subjective time. People can control time freely to exceed objective time and express the people's true life experiences in the novel ,which needs author to deal with narrative time. Therefore, the author dealing with time in novel is to express people's life experiences. This text selects some narrative time forms in 20 centry novel to research people's life experiences.This text is divided into five parts:The first part is a preface which explains the reason to write this paper. About researching of narrative time, people have neglected the relation between it and life experiences before. This paper wants to remedy the limitation, and research it from life experiences.From the second part to the fourth part are the main body of this paper . The second part is about time consciousness and life experiences, which is divided into three sections: 1.the origin of time consciousness; 2.measurable time and subjective time;3.the varieties of time notion. This part discusses the relation between time and life experiences. The mankind's time consciousness comes from two aspects:to observe the natural creation and to experience individual life. Measurable time derives from the former, which is objective time .It regards time as a kind of object which can calculate and plot out. Subjective time derives from the latter,which is people's ture feeling about time. It has closed relation with life experiences. At the same time, from the development of the mankind's time concept, peole recognize increasingly the relation between time and the life experiences. With the modern philosophy of the researching time from subjective aspect,it get more people's acknowledgement.The third part is about time and the novel narration ,which is divided into three sections:1. the origin of the literature and the time fear of humankind;2. the novel is a kind of time art;3. time and space of novel and life experiences. This part discusses mainly the relation between the narrative time and life experiences. To some extent ,the literature derives from the time fear of humankind. People want to seek time back...
