The Collation And Annotation Of Xia Houzhan's Writings

Xia Houzhan is one of representative writers of the early era the West Jin Dynasty.But heis neglected. Commening this from academic circles, the auther wants to enrich the content ofliterature history and provide a little help for the study in future. The paper is the first detailedcomprehensive study to Xia Houzhan's works till today.This paper constitutes three parts. The first part introduces to us Xia Houzhan's usuallyrecord of events. Then introduces to us spreading the circumstance of his works. And the lastpart from his works the paper explored Xia Houzhan's thoughts, artistic characteristic andcreative style . The second part is the main body of this paper. In this part the writer collectedXia Houzhan's poems and articles and collated, tested to order the works and made annotationby using traditional ways. The third part is appendix including the work made by Pan Yue ,thechronicle of Xia Houzhan's life, the material compilation on them written by the past age'swriters and bibliography. In writing I have done necessary textual research about XiaHouzhan's life and his works according to available material in order to provide a little helpfor the study in future.
