YuanKai,with another name Jingwen and also known Haisou,was a native of Huating County,Shanghai City.when he was young,he became a orphaned,but he strived to learn,and was also good at poem and jape.At the end of the Yuan Dynasty,he was a inferior official,knowledgeable and eloquent.In the 3th year of Emperor Hongwu,he was recommended to become the official of Jianchayushi.Later,he requested to return to his hometown,and died of old age.The Complete Works of HaiSou and the anthology ZaiYe handed down.His poetry to a total of 400.This collation and annotation is on the basis edition of HeXuanzhi Typography edition, which was printed in the 4th year of Emperor Longqing(1571),and mainly referenced by the edition of ZhangSuowang block-printed edition,which is printed in the 37th year of Emperor Wanli(1609),and also mailnly referenced by the edition of CaoBingceng block-printed edition,which was printed in the 61st year of Emperor Kangxi(1722).Other reference versions include:the anthology ZaiYe manuscript,which was written by the den of surname Qi in Ming Dynasty;the anthology HaiSou block-printed edition,which was compiled by LuShen during the year of Emperor Zhengde;complete library in the Four Branches of Literature;the den of GuanZiDe Series,which collate and print by XuShikai whose hometown was Shidi county,Anhui province;The Complete Poetry of the Ming,which was edited by Zhang Peiheng.On one hand,this thesis has a deep and elaborate collation and annotation on the poetry of Hai Sou,at the same time,according to the related material for reduction of errors and resumption of its originality in order to reflect the original appearance of the poems,and for dialed and precise annotation and analysis on the obscure characters,allusions, quotations,historical facts,so that readers can understand the poems correctly.On the other hand,this thesis has a thorough research on Haisou's Life,thinking,works and its version,poetry of the ideological content,poetry art and so on.Point out that Yuankai's life is rather legendary.He had been the ambition of relief to common people.But he was in the end of Yuan Dynasty,which was a troubled times,his desire could not be achieved.Unexpectedly,he also offended Zhu Yuanzhang.Then he resigned from office and returned home reluctantly.Hence there are lots of lyrical poetry in his poetry.In addition,including the realist narrative poetry,scenery poetry,farewell poetry and so on.These poems have simple language,feel very calmly and fresh.Finally,on this basis,clarify that Yuankai kept pace with GaoQi during the early Ming Dynasty.
