YueKe(1183-?),named Suzhi, with another name Yizhai or Dongji, also known as Juanwong in his late days,was born in Tangyin which belonged to Hennan Province nowdays. He lived in Jiangzhou which was known as Jiujiang of Jiangxi Province today. Yue Ke was the grandson of Yue Fei who was a very famous strategist in the northern Song Dynasty and the son of Yue Lin who was the fouth son of Yue Fei. He served officials in Hubei,Jiangxi as well as many other places and took literature along with calligraphy as priorities.YueKe was a man of honesty and uprightness.He was knowledgable and profound in documents which was of great influence both historically and literally. YuZhuShiGao,consisted of8volumes and358poems,was created in1238to1240which virtually reflected his official career and life experience. During that three years, YueKe experienced the re-appointment after the unjustly treatment, assigned HuGuangZongLing to home and later was in high position. All the ups and downs in his years were reflected in YuZhuShiGao.This Paper has tried to make an exploration in YuZhuShiGao based on correcting and annotating of the Poem. It can be divided into two parts:the introduction and the body. The introduction provides an overview on the life, writings as well as the editions’condition of the Poem and it also makes a basic analysis in the contents and artistic characteristics of the Poem. With QuanSongshi as the basic manuscript published by Peking University in1998, the one kept in Nan Jing Liberary as the block-printed edition, the edition collected by SongJiZhenBenCongKan as the a hand-written copy of Ming Dynasty along with the one hand-written and corrected by Wu Shicang kept in Nan Jing Library and SanYiTangCongShu corrected by Shen Zengzhi included in SongJiZhenBenCongKan as the correction version, this part makes a correction and annotation both detailedly and accurately in order to help the readers well understand the original version.
