On The Acceptance To The Poetry Of Liu Zongyuan In Song Dynasty

Liu Zongyuan is appraised as a celebrated author as Han Yu in the middle period of Tang dynasty and occupies a very important position in the history of Chinese Literature. He has got an outstanding achievement on allegory, poetry, essays and travel notes of landscape. The critics focus on the features of his allegory and travel notes of landscape etc. However the study of his poetry is comparatively less, especially on a perspective from the Accepting History. Therefore, the tidying of Song Dynasty's researches concerning Liu Zongyuan's poetry from the viewpoint of Accepting History, not only can fill up the blank of studying, but also establish a firm flat for the later research. It will provide a reliable reference and settle a foundation for the deep research. This study should have much significance in these facets in this field.This paper tries to show the features of Liu Zongyuan's poetry by summarizing and pectinating Song dynasty's statements on his poetry. It will reveal the change of acceptance to his poetry and detect the literary thoughts, social background and personal theory of Song Dynasty's critics. It is helpful for the research of Liu Zongyuan's poetry and the change and development of Song Dynasty's literature thoughts.This paper consists of three parts—introduction, the body and conclusion.In the introduction, it puts up the reasons and values of choosing this topic, and its theme.The body part is divided into four sections.SectionⅠ.The initial discovery of Liu Zongyuan's poetry in Northern Song Dynasty.Northern Song Dynasty is the first climax stage in the acceptance of Liu Zongyuan's poetry.Ⅰ.Su Shi's founding of and the status's heightening of Liu Zongyuan's poetry.
