Study The Characteristics Of Ding Shande's Piano Musical Creation

The paper analyzes Ding Shande's piano musical creation in each period of his life. I apply methodology of"from the abstract to the concrete"and"from the whole to the part".On the whole, the paper has three parts. In Chapter 1, I review the history of Ding Shande's piano musical creation, and analyze the style and techniques of musical productions, in order to let the reader know his creation characteristics and background. In Chapter 2, I analyze the nationality features in his musical creation from the elements of rhythm, harmony, tune and so on, trying to grasp its outstanding originality on the application of nationality musical elements and techniques. In Chapter 3, I use modern harmony, tune thought, musical style, etc. as my breakthrough point to analyze the modern creation thought and techniques in his piano musical creation, trying to outline the use and innovation of modern musical ideal by Ding Shande.In conclusion part, I discuss the relationship and its incorporation between nationality style of music and modern thought in Chinese modern piano music, as follows: Modern musical creation must apply modern musical techniques as well as draw on traditional culture of nationality music. This is the reason for Ding Shande's great achievements on musical creation, and also is the great inspiration from him.
