A Study On Comparison Between "不能V" And "V 不 C"

The structure of "不能V" and "V不C" which shows the possibility of the negation is called negation possibility pattern by the academia of Chinese grammar. The article will focus on the semantic features and use of "不能V" and "V不C" .Both "不能V" and "V不C" can show the possibility of negation, and they are similar in semantic meaning, but they also have their own unique patterns. Sometimes two structures are not interchangeable, and sometimes they can replace each other. People whose mother tongue is Chinese can easily use "不能V" and "V不C" by language sense, but it isn't easy for alien students.
