Numerous archaeological investigations have been conducted in the Transcaspian area during the past several decades. Knowledge of the history of primary research and the sequence of discoveries is essential for appreciating our understanding of Transcaspian area.My master thesis is of vital importance to keep track of the early cultures within the region of Transcaspia . Society in Transcaspia appears to get more complex and socially differented from the Aeneolithic to the Bronze Age.Based on the sequence of Namazga-depe, I make an in-depth interpretation for the early social complexity of Transcaspia in order to thoroughly reconstruct the distinguished prehistoric civilization, and try to analyze the key factors underlying civilization process. The dissertation consists of three chapters ,two of which emphasize on the cultural and economic developments of early society from the Aeneolithic to the Bronze Age, specifically including settlement plans, domestic architecture, pottery, metallurgy and archaic art and so on. These are basal parts for my further academic research just as a cornerstone. With the analysis for statistical data including quantity , distribution and occupational area of the settlements, I study on the settlement patterns which are appropriate for the purpose of understanding prehistoric society as the essential archaeological information. Moreover, large-scale explorations have been conducted over several decades by the Soviet archeologists in Transcaspia. The third chapter is composed of three sections .Firstly, focusing on the regional settlements shift within the whole area of Transcaspia ,I systemically synthesize the transitional process of settlements. Secondly, focusing on the structures within settlement, I draw the conclusion of the development of social organizational patterns. Last, Combining with ecological settings in Transcaspia, I figure out that the archeological cultures must be undertaken the interaction with environment during the prehistoric period. Conclusion is a product of review the internal and evolutionary sequence documented for Transcaspia from the Aeneolithic to the Bronze Age. Though dissertation of the continuous process of the early Transcaspian society has been impressive, the relation with the neighboring region will be obtain in the future.
