A Report On Escort Interpretation In The Resolve Project For Malteurope Baoding Malt Company,Ltd.

It is of vital importance to explore the interpretation research on the basis of interpretation practice.Therefore,the interpreter chooses the escout interpretation as the interprerter’s interpretation task.Escort interpretation is frequently seen in bridging business exchanges.The interpreter started writing this report with internship experience in Malteurope Baoding Malt Company Ltd which was founded back in 1995 and dedicated in malting industry.The interpreter spent 30 days as an escort interpreter in this company,laying the foundation for the interpreter’s further analysis.After internship in the silo and malting department for two weeks,the interpreter began the escort interpreting for Mr.Lauren from the HQ in France and directors of each department concerned.The interpreter’s task mainly covers interpreting for on-spot checks and meetings in the Resolve Project,designed to cut back on energy consumption and check the progress of work assigned to each department last year.In reviewing the process of the interpretation task,this report mainly concentrates on the preparation phrase before task.Such prases as preparation before,during and after the task are drawn for assessment and reflection.It is in the case study that the interpreter,by combining the interpreter’s performance with Gile’s Efforts Model,sets foot on analyzing problems and drawing lessons and experience.Through this practice,the interpreter accumulates some innovative methods in interpretation preparation.It is hoped that interpretation learners could make references to the interpreter’s paper for improvement.
