Carry On The New Discussion To The Genesis Of The May Forth Movement New-Vernacular Literature From Political Culture Angle

About the genesis of the May Fourth Movement new-vernacular literature, the literature history seemed to have two kinds of final conclusions: one is to investigate its evolution from the idea that literature is the reflection or reproducing of social life; the other is to seek literature's essence or laws from the performance of literature itself. In fact, modern Chinese literature consciously or unconsciously comes into the political system and seeks the means of livelihood during that time, and the interaction between political culture and literature has never really been cut off. Monthly magazine "Jiayin ", which shows the new investigation and debate about individual, country, national development, has improved the modern thought schemes taking personal independence and freedom as centre, and just these thought schemes become the basic thought resource of the new-vernacular literature and new culture of the May Fourth Movement. According to this, taking "personal standard" as the study breach, the monthly magazine "Jiayin" which embodies the "personal standard" thought as the centre, political culture angle as a newer research angle, this paper plans to carry on the new discussion to the genesis of the May Fourth Movement new-vernacular literature.
