Design And Implementation Of Mongolian Educational Resources Library

With the continuing popularity of the Internet ,the network provide abundant resources, many of them are education related resources. Educational resources on Network are important part of the whole educational resources. The set of various resources form an educational resource library. The construction of educational resource library is very important for educational informationize and talent training, the sustaining accumulation of educational resources and their application can have directly influence on improvement of the whole education condition.Mongolian language is one of the official languages in Inner Mongolia region. There are many schools and colleges in this region which use Mongolian in daily teaching. However, few of the educational resources on network are provided in Mongolian.This paper discussed the design and realization of Mongolian based educational resources library. In the realization of the system, a basic problem is how to achieve showing, editing and storing and transmitting of the Mongolian on network. The Mongolian writing habits is vertically from left to right, so it is quite different from other languages. Especially for HTML mark-up language based Internet webpage and the explaining technology of browser, it is impossible to display Mongolian directly. This system realized displaying and editing of Mongolian as characters on webpage by the ActiveX technology of Microsoft, and it is compatible with HTML language.The system used Mongolian international standard code.
