Study On Course Structure For Undergraduate Students Majoring In Mandarin Language At Teachers Colleges And Universities In Xinjiang

In Xinjiang, the Mandarin language courses at teachers colleges and universities have important role in training the Mandarin language teachers for ethnic minorities. But some problems facing the Mandarin language courses at teachers colleges and universities in Xinjiang should be settled as soon as possible. Two of these problems are: how to upgrade the Mandarin level of those who teach the language; and how to build up their sound knowledge structure.Education theories and practices prove that whatever educational reform take place they are always related to course reform. However, course structure reform is nothing but"the core of the core"of course reform. Therefore, the study of course structure for Mandarin language courses at teachers colleges and universities in Xinjiang will benefit the training of future Mandarin language teachers and the upgrading of the overall level of the Mandarin language teaching in Xinjiang.First, by comparing the course structure of teachers colleges and universities in China and abroad, this dissertation trys to explore the developmental trends of course structure of outside of china. Second, by comparing the Mandarin courses in teachers colleges and universities in Xinjiang, this dissertation also describes the current situation and the existing problems in Mandarin language courses.
