This paper selects 28 domestic universities with more Chinese origin Chinese learners,conducts an investigation for the composition of MTCSOL mentors team, and analyses the Chinese teaching & studying qualifications of the team. In addition, this paper interviewed 8 in-service Chinese teachers(graduates of MTCSOL) of Jinan University to analyze and evaluate their demand in the Chinese teaching knowledge and skills.The investigation findings:(1)In the teachers training of “MTCSOL+Chinese education base” college, the strength of international Chinese teachers training is far greater than the Chinese teachers training. On the team of Chinese teacher training mentors, the colleges show a large imbalance, which more than half of mentors have none experience about Chinese teaching & studying.(2) The Chinese education base colleges or universities have not shown obvious advantages on the Chinese teachers training.(3) The phenomenon that 15 colleges or universities have none Chinese teaching & studying qualification is serious. What matter is not the strength of training large or small, but the strength of training having or not.Based on this investigation, this paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of the model that put the Chinese teaching elements into the education of MTCSOL. The specific methods are: The relevant colleges or universities add Chinese teaching contents into MTCSOL curriculum according to their needs and mentors, and carry out Chinese teaching seminars. It will not affect the normal MTCSOL courses, and can meet the demand of Chinese teachers’ training.
