| The declining problem of the nation's traditional culture is a very important problem in the process of modernization of each nation. What's more, the problem which is prevalent in the world, is a hot discussion in the academic world. This paper focused on the following topics: the topic of how to protect and develop china's Russian traditional culture under the conditions of economic market; through analyzing the theory about the protection and development of traditional ethnic culture, the author explored the form of the Russian traditional culture and it's changing reasons, and provided the measures and recommendations of how to protect and transition the Russian traditional culture.Beside the foreword and conclusion, this paper divided into three parts. In the first part the author laid the theoretical foundation for the research of protecting and developing Russian traditional ethnic culture in Xinjiang through collecting and analyzing the theory about traditional ethnic culture. In the second part, the author introduced china's Russian'formation, development, distribution and the main content of the traditional culture of Russians; briefly reviewed the changing process of the traditional culture of Xingjiang's Russians; analyzed the difficulties, which would confront when develop the Xinjiang's Russian traditional culture under the conditions of economic market; explored the reason that caused the situation in a further step. In the third part, in terms of the characteristics and the development of the Xinjiang's Russian traditional culture, the author proposed measures and suggestions on how to change and protect its culture.The object and purpose of this paper is to strengthen the study of china's Russians, and to provide the constructive comments of carrying out the helping work for the less populated ethnic regions in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government.This paper has some novel views as follows: first, it definite the nation's traditional culture.
