Attachment theory, formulated by Bowlby (1969), is a powerful theory of social and emotional development. Since adult attachment interview (AAI) was devised by George, adult attachment has been a focus of the attachment research. Attachment style presents interpersonal relationship. The relationship can stimulate or hinder one's mental health. This study aims at revising the Experience in Close Relationship Scale-Revised (ECR-R) by respondents coming from college students in China, and exploring the relationship between attachment style, depression and well-being. Results show as followed:1. College students' attachment questionnaire was confirmed to make up of anxiety and closeness. Subjects can be divided into four types: secure, dismissing, preoccupied and fearful; and about the attachment style of the college students in China: fearful was 31. 1%, secure was 25. 4%, preoccupied was 22. 5%, dismissing was 21%.2. College students of different attachment style had different levels of psychological health. There were significant differences in depression and well-being between secure attachment and insecure attachment. The scores of depression of college students with low well-being were much higher than those with high well-being.
