The production of Refugee Images is connected with the refugee phenomenon, the tragedy,and tribulation. As a kind of on-the-spot record images facing the realistic cultural ecology, the Refugee Images show three different kinds characters because of its non-fabrication, firstly, it is the homogeneity between the image text and the real-life; Secondly, it is the recording and reverting about the historical cultural ecology; Third, it is the quality of the refugee images which is connected with the quality of clerisy.This dissertation explores the creation and collection of refugee images by the example of ZhouChen's Beggars and Street Characters. First of all, it researches the traits of the figural diseases and professions, finding that they are related to the geographical circumstances and people's hygienical habits, then it draws a conclusion that they came from the frail almsgiving of Ming empire and negative ideas about the tragedy during 15~16BC. Secondly ,this dissertation looks upon the Refugee Images as a kind of taboo, which is a kind of menace to kaiserdom, and a kind of tragedies for people's tribulations, by the way of contrasting the Refugee Images with the Cultivating and weaving Images and the Locust-catching Images. But during the historical structure, the approaches were passive for both of them because of the hindrances, which mainly are the mediumistic ideas and fragmentary thoughts for succor.Finally, this dissertation deems if we want to solve tribulations, we should consider the Refugee Images as a special way for clerisy who can lead people out of the tribulations physiologically and spiritually. When the Refugee Images are considered as a part of the history, the non-fabricated qualities of these images are coming to the same point with the qualities of clerisy who can hammer at social services and criticize the reality.In addition, this dissertation gives another definition about the Refugee, and reseaches the ancient refugee images detailedly.
