A Study Of Interior Fitment And Furniture In The Architecture Of Yangshi Lei

The main purpose of the article is to research their characteristics of the Qing Dynasty's furniture, decoration and furnishings from the architecture of the Qing Dynasty's palace builder Yangshi Lei, as well as their inseparable relationship. Through the method of extensive collection of related documentation, field visits and summary, it can be found that the Qing Dynasty's features in the interior decoration and furniture layout are reflected in the building of Yangshi Lei and Yangshi Lei's file.Through some existing buildings'layout, the extraction of interior decoration and furniture furnishings segment in Yangshi Lei's file and analyzing of Qing Dynasty's documentation, it can come to the following conclusions: as the important components of the building, indoor and furniture are interrelated and inseparable with building in design concepts and features. As the designer of the building, Yangshi Lei is not only responsible for the construction of imperial building, but also the interior decoration and display. They also take charge of correlative drawing task in a series of design works of architecture, furnishings and furniture. It is reflected that the design of building, interior and furniture use the same decorative elements in the Yangshi Lei's file. Whether in building or interior design , it all presents the strict rank conception and sovereign power. It strictly ran through royal desire. Also in decorative pattern, it takes on the imperial family's nice desire of long reign, luck, longevity and safety everywhere. Yangshi Lei was engaging in the imperial architectural design continuously by seven generations. Of course because of the strong participation of the king and minister, the will of user determines main orientation of design works. But specific design was executed by Yangshi Lei, so Yangshi Lei's thought and aesthetic orientation are infiltrated in areas both of building and indoor furniture. The design works itself has very important relationship with designers and historical background.Yangshi Lei's file has not only left many precious historical materials to the architecture and gardening, but also disclosed the characteristic of the Qing Dynasty's palace interior decoration and furniture. Yangshi Lei's file is also a share of precious treasure to the furniture history of the Qing Dynasty.
