By theories and methods of the Chinese traditional literary, comparative literature, hermeneutics, literary communication theories and receptive esthetics, this thesis tries to do some comparative study on Qin Guan's poets and ci-poets to improve the understanding and appraisement of characteristic, value, and status in history of Qin Guan's poets and ci-poets. On the subject matter, both of Qin Guan's poets and ci-poets were the portraiture of his minds and emotion. The differences were as follows: the poets were more about politics and everyday life while ci-poets were more about his individual feelings; the poets were wide but the ci-poets were narrow in subject choosing; the poets expressed ideas while ci-poets expressed affections. On the art achievements, as to the ways of emotions expression, both Qin Guan's poets and ci-poets liked to expressed by empathy, the affections and scenery were in homonym. The poets were more "zi-yan" style while his Ci-poets were more "dai-yan" style in expression. The expression of Qin Guan's poets was straight while his ci-poets were deep and euphemistic, inputting the political experience in the outer of love. The poets input his ideals in the images while the ci-poets conveyed his emotions by the scenery. On the modes of structure, both of the poets and ci-poets were presented his feelings by things. The differences were as follows: the poets were linear and his ci-poets were annular in structure. On the language feature, both Qin Guan's poets and ci-poets were simple and proper, gentle and pretty, also natural. The differences were as follows: the poets were clear and direct, while the ci-poets were obscure and euphemistic; There were more literary quotations in poets than in ci-poets, in poets were events quotations while in ci-poets were vocabulary quotations, for the ci-poets were concentrated on the emotions. Compared to the poets, the ci-poets were more vulgar, for Qin Guan learned form the folk literature and effected by Liu Yong. Critics in the past dynasties focused their attentions on the feature of "feminized" and "poets liked ci-poets", this was reasonable in one side, but also somewhat unilateral. The popularity of Qin Guan's poets was exceeded by ci-poets in the course of diffuseness. This reflected the track of literary notion's evolution.
