The Carefully Chosen Caotang Ci Of Brilliant Literati

The Carefully Chosen Caotang Ci of brilliant literati is a Ci collection compiled in early Yuan Dynasty. The collection, with great document value, however, was hard to be handed down until the Ming Dynasty;and thus it needs urgently to be studied further. This dissertation will start with the edition criticism and author collation, followed by the compiling themes. The article will also discuss on the influence of the collection on the Ci style in early Yuan Dynasty from the regional culture angle, including the discussion on the research history of the Ci collection. The article will pay more attention to the edition criticism so as to draw an outline of the collection's circulation, reveal it in its true colors. New findings will be also in the author collation, while the discussion about the influence of all kinds of Ci style in different region will provide a key link in the change of style from Song to Yuan Dynasty.
