Musical naturalism is on the basis of the knowledge of nature that ancient people has obtained. It embodies the basic understanding about the relationship between the nature and the music. In China, musical naturalism has appeared in ancient times. In particular, it becomes the music idea that occupies the dominant status at that time. So the author analyzes the literature of Pre-qin and discusses some questions that are related to the musical naturalism.This article analyzes the historical data which come from "Shangshu","Zhushu jinian ", "Zhou rite", "Laozi", "Annals of Zuo", "Guoyu","Confucian analects", "Ritual Records", "Mencius", "Lushih Chunchiu","Xun Zi", "Zhuang-zi" and "Han Feizi" and so on. The literature. Of"Shangshu", "Zhushu jinian " and "Lushi Chunchiu" have mainly reflectedthe musical naturalism of Chinese ancient times ; "Zhou rite", "Laozi ","Annals of Zuo", "Guoyu " and "Ritual Records" reflected the musicalnaturalism of the Western Zhou Dynasty time as well as the Western ZhouDynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period transition period.; "Confuciananalects", "Mencius", "Xun Zi", "Zhuang-zi" and "Han Fei Zi" reflected thesplit of musical naturalism in the Spring and Autumn Period Warring Statestime .But, because of the nature of the literature and the editor's factors,musical naturalism that is related to historical data is very imbalanced in thewriting proportion, and they reflected musical naturalism development is alsoimbalanced in the time span.On the basis of the literature analysis, firstly, the author tries to discuss the objective conditions that form the musical naturalism, and points out two types of conditions.
