Thomas nagel is an outstanding contemporary philosopher.He has a wide range of research fields,and has many achievements in political philosophy,epistemology,philosophy of mind and other fields.In his masterpiece the mind and the universe,nagel makes a historical argument for consciousness and cognition from the perspective of anti-reductionism.By constructing the value of objective realism,and by virtue of the historical connection between life and value,this paper demonstrates the possibility of naturalistic explanation of the mind and forms its internal naturalistic order principle.This paper aims to sort out the logic of nagel's argumentation and reveal the theoretical gist of his inherent naturalism.This paper is divided into three parts:The first chapter is a critique of reductionism: the emergence path of the natural order theory;Mainly through the reduction,materialism and other basic concepts of the comb,clear nagel said materialism naturalism essence,understand the principle of natural order model form and critical field.Chapter two: The two dimensions of the criticism of naturalism against reductionism;In view of the weakness of reductionism in explaining consciousness and cognition,this paper points out the necessity of historical explanation of consciousness and cognition according to the difference between constructive explanation and historical explanation.Elucidate the analytical way of internal naturalism.Chapter three: The theoretical construction of internal naturalism;It is an interpretation of the core meaning of nagel's inner naturalism.The discussion of teleology is based on nagel's logic.The discussion of value realism is based on the construction of objective value realism and the symbiosis of value and life.
