Innate knowledge as substance, just bases on the two aspects .It becomes the substance of Tian Tao for both its character of self-known and the same nature with Tian as its own true state.In Yangming's philosophy, innate knowledge as substance, there are three respect meanings : From the system of the heart, it features inherent to the natural rational principles; From the origin of virtue, it is the foundation of becoming sage; From the relation of the heart and the things, that it is the base of the existence of the significance world.
