Several influential factors and mechanism had been researched. In experiment 1, several influential factaors included age, familiar of label and similarity in label effects had been researched. The results showed that the first was label's effects may be decreased with the age's growth whereas there had no significant difference in 3-5 years' older, the second was the influency between familiar labels and unfamiliar labels had no significant difference and the third was the degree of similarity had significant influecy in inductive reasoning's label effects in children and adults. In experiment 2, the labels had been substituted by a phrase described with a single feature. The results showed that the phrase could also facilitate children and adults' inductive reasoning like the familiar labels and unfamilar labels. So the two kinds of theories about the role of category labels in inductive reasoning had been challeged.
