The incidences of suicide ideation of female student was higher than that of male, the difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 50.478, p<0.01). The score of impulsive and aggressive in the group of suicide ideation were significantly higher than non-suicide ideation group (t=16.486,p<0.01;t=24.875,p<0.01). The prevalence of suicide ideation in anxiety and depression group was significantly higher than those without anxiety and depression (χ2=3.354, p<0.01;χ2=6.888, p<0.01). The rate of suicide ideation in group of moderate and serious family dysfunction were significantly higher in well group (χ2=5.002, p<0.01). Anxiety, depression, impulsive, aggressive can directly or indirectly impact on suicide ideation, good social support and family functioning as intermediate factors can effective buffer the relationship between suicide ideation and anxiety, depression. Conclusion There were a variety of psychological and social factors impact on suicide ideation among the medical students of lower grades.
