Mudan was the poet who was at the turning point of the tradition of ancient Chinese poetry and tradition of modern Chinese literature, and mainly affected by western modernism. These poetics resources entangled together and acted as the essential characters in Mudan's poetry. All of these would be rationally and profoundly acknowledged and understood. The goal of this article is to rediscover the affect of the tradition of ancient Chinese poetry and the tradition of modern Chinese literature and the new poetry to Mudan, then clarify the relationships between Mudan and the two traditions, as well as other related resources. The conception "classic" of Mudan was profoundly affected by the modern western poetics, which was used to mean to be interrelated to " romantic" or "sentimental", and to be opposite to "rational" and "classic". While in the modern western, the term "class" refers to the quality of the inclusive poems with the largest mentality.Yet, the conception of "classic" understood by Mudan is absolutely not the essential quality of ancient Chinese literature. The writing form of ancient Chinese poems, according to Mudan, is not efficient to represent the real and complex statement of modern society, and the old style of ancient Chinese literature is advert to the creation and development of the modern Chinese poetics. The poetics of Mudan embodies the affection of the tradition of modern Chinese literature. That is, literature would express the reality, the true life and society, and it can be fabricated but can't be falsified, especially when it confronts to the complex and paradox of our life. The poems should be clear and concreted, which shouldn't be too ambiguous to express the truth superficially and. occasionally. It is available for deducing the conclusion of Mudan's writing by close reading.
