The factors of teaching and learning have been stressed on in Modern foreign language teaching theories, the students' learning strategies,diligent factors and teaching materials,teaching methods and so on would greatly influence their foreign language learning. So it is prerequisite of teaching for the teacher to know the students and their foreign language learning. In order to bring to light the students'feelings of difficulty in English learning and its influential factors to improve English teaching, the author tries to investigate and analyze English learning of Mongolian college students in this paper.In this paper, an investigation has been designed according to documents now available and the present situation of Mongolian college students'English learning and also according to characteristics of English subject. With the selection of 817 students who includes from freshmen to juniors, this research makes a survey of students'feelings of difficulty in English learning and its influential factors. The conclusions are as follows:1. The level of feelings of difficulty in Mongolian college students'English learning is higher than that of the nationality of Han. There is remarkable differences between Mongolian and the nationality of Han on diligent factors.2. There is remarkable differences between sexes on Mongolian college students'feelings of difficulty in vocabulary,grammar and reading. Male's feelings of difficulty are all higher than female's. There is remarkable differences between sexes on Mongolian college students'diligent factors.3.
