It's the historical interim of social transformation which the Chinese traditional society went to the latter-day society, from the end of Qing dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China , when the politics,economy and culture of the country had changed deeply a lot, and further ,people's social life. As the idiographic and essential part of society, social life indicates the movement of the productive force, relation of production and all kinds of social relations . Hami, the important passage of the antique Silk road , called as the throat and the lock to the northwest of China,was the first door to Xinjiang . During the period, the ninth emperor of the Hui nationality Shamhusut strengthened the relationship with the latter Qing dynasty and the Northern Warlord government , thus, Hami had a good communication with the other places of Xinjiang and the other provinces in some ways because of it's particular location and absorbed more cultural factors. The article , describing the social life of the main nationality In Hami such as Uigur,Han,Hui,Kazakh and Mongolia, has analyzed the external conditions of the social life in Hami .what's more,not only the influence and fusion among the different cultures of different nations but also the particular way of the social life as a consequence of the sepecial location can also be analyzed by it.Hami is the sample of Xinjiang, therefore, the outline and transformation of the social life in Xinjiang can be given by the description of Hami .
