YunJing is the representative of the phonetic system of Sui Tang Dynasty, while QieYunZhiZhangTu is the representative of Song Dynasty. This thesis tries to reveal the development of the phonetic system through the comparison of the two works from the perspective of the changes of the number of rows and the choices of the rhyme.Historical comparison method is adopted in this thesis, which is based on the diachronic comparison between the two works as well as the synchronic comparison with other rhyme maps, such as JiYun, SiShengDengZi, etc. As to the initial consonant, the disintegration and the integration of the tone are investigated, eg the differentiation of the lip tone, yusan yusi, the integration of zhuang and zhang groups, and the mixture of chuan and shan. Pertain to the compound vowel, the twenty maps of QieYunZhiZhangTu break the frame of the "KaiHe" and "Deng" in YunJing. It is a wild range for the integration of the rhyme, such as the combined rhyme of tan and tan, dong and dong, hen and hun in First Deng, the combined rhyme of xian and xian, shan and shan, geng and geng, jia and jie in Second Deng, the combined rhyme of dong and zhong,yu and yu,yan and fan, yuan and xian, zhenxin wen xin, geng qing zheng, zhi zhi zhi wei,in Thrid Deng. On the side, the pure Forth Deng and false Second Deng or false Forth Deng integrate.,eg qi and zhi zhi, xian and yuan xian, xiao and xiao, qing and qing, tian and yan fan. Entering tone rhymes not only match with Yang Sheng rhymes but with Yin Sheng rhymes in QieYunZhiZhangTu.On the basis of the objective description and analysis of the map examples, many conclusion are made according to the comparison of YunJing and QieYunZhiZhangTu. It is necessary to verify its popularity and profundity. Moreover, it is expected to improve and enrich it in the future study.
