Qimen dialect belongs to Hui dialect. Hui dialect is very different from Gan dialect and Jianghuai dialect, which are adjacent to Hui dialect, and there is also difference between Hui dialect and Wu dialect. Its attribution of class is still in controversy in linguistic circle. The internal differences in Qimen dialect are obvious. There is not a powerful vernacular in Qimen dialect, so the degree of conversation is very low.Since the 30's of last century, there were several scholars who talked about Qimen dialect, but they only took the city area dialect as their object to describe. Based on first material attained by a great deal of investigation, the thesis subdivides dialect in Qimen county into six parts according to differences in phonetics lexis and grammar ,and through comparison and research in seven dialects ,inquire into their close or distant relation and reasons of different close density.In the phonetics part, the essay combines synchronic description and diachronic comparison to compare and analyze differences among seven dialects in Qimen county.In the lexis part, the essay uses synchronic comparison to analyze differences in lexis of seven dialects and investigate reasons of difference.In the grammar part, the essay chooses ten special subjects in grammar to describe the characteristics of the city area dialect in grammar.
