Fast changing world and colorful life have offered the broad space for prevalence of fashion culture, which becomes most noticeable phenomenon in the society of contemporary consumption.This text regards"symbol value"of Baudrillard as the breakthrough point, on the basis of consulting relevant literature, and divides into three types of fashionable culture: brand consumption , idol consumption , desire consume, and carries on the discussion to main form and their characteristic of fashionable consumption in an all-round way. Meanwhile, using narrating theory carry on deep analysis to the role of media in fashionable consumption.The author thinks that, with the power of the media, individual and social relationships have found displaying and unique stage in the consumption field of fashion culture. Fashionable consumption not merely brings the element of plural thinking to people under unified system, but makes people's feeling and happiness rise to high level , and make it become important means which consumer upgrade their status and social identity .At the same time, the thesis also points out, Fashion culture have deep influence to forming of values,world outlook and outlook on life for student in university, opening and cross-cultural fashion can help university student form pluralistic idea and consciousness global of culture. In order to finish the historical mission which current media transmit the advanced culture, we must give the positive direction to consumption of fashionable culture, and investigate cultural meaning of fashionable consumption specifically in the background of social culture, and improve the positive effect from the contemporary media of our country and make effective influence in the course of building the multi-level cultural system and high-quality campus culture, constructing strong spiritual atmosphere , reinventing health personality.
